Here's a few sweet wedding poems that you may want to share with that wonderful bride and groom on their wedding day.

This is your opportunity to make sure that your wedding card is memorable and stands apart from the rest.

I think wishing the newlyweds all the very best is a genuine way of letting them know that you want them to have a wonderful life together.

The first verse is a very general one.

You may share it with virtually any couple on their wedding day.

It doesn't even matter whether you are close to them or not. However, I'm sure they will love it.

Wishing You

Wishing you both,

the most beautiful life.

Now that you are

husband and wife.

You certainly make,

the perfect sweet pair.

Many precious moments,

from this day you will share.

Blissful happiness we wish,

for all of your days.

You both love each other,

in so many ways.

May your journey be filled,

with mutual goals.

Time and unconditional love,

shall combine both your souls.

Enjoy your honeymoon,

you both deserve rest.

We just want to wish you,

only the best.

Before we take a look at the remaining wedding poems, you may be interested in these bridal shower poems.

Let's take a look at another fairly general themed wedding poem, that applies to virtually any situation. Hope you like it.

The Sun Has Arrived

The sun has arrived,

along with your smile.

You're one gorgeous bride,

with plenty of style.

Glanced at the groom,

a very fine choice.

We're here to celebrate,

dance and rejoice.

It has turned out,

to be a beautiful day.

Watched you both,

eternally sway.

These precious moments,

in our minds shall remain.

Nothing will erase them,

not even rain.

Family and friends,

with blessings and support.

Everything was perfect,

but simply too short.

The sun has arrived,

it never shall leave.

In this magical marriage,

we truly believe.

By Martin Dejnicki

The next wedding poem uses flowers as a metaphor for happiness. We all know that wedding flower arrangements are often quite stunning. Well this poem is meant to communicate just that and much more.

Here's some really beautiful wedding card boxes you may want to let the bride-to-be know about for that special day.

Petals of Joy

Orange roses,

pink, or just white.

Daffodils, tulips,

and lilies, so bright.

These petals of joy,

so colorfully sweet.

Embrace your presence,

from head to your feet.

Daises have many,

Yellow orchids have five.

Your petals of joy,

are more than alive.

Purple hydrangeas,

sweet peas are intense.

Petals of joy represent,

love that's immense.

May your marriage be filled,

with an astonishing view.

Covered in petals of joy,

and never too few.

Your petals of joy,

like moments you'll choose.

Dance in your mutual gardens of life,

Stress-free without shoes.

By Martin Dejnicki

The wedding flower petals in the above poem represent colorful/happy moments. So the goal behind the poem is to wish newlyweds many happy moments and experiences in their new life together. The gardens may represent specific stages in life or marriage. It shouldn't matter the stage a couple may be at, their goals should always revolve around happiness. Whether they're newlyweds or have been married for many decades, every couple should always seek their mutual petals of joy.

Planning a wedding is often quite stressful and extremely time consuming. Most couples use very generic wording in their wedding invites. If you want to try something a bit more unique, then check out these wedding invitation poems. Hope you like them.

Unless you have a huge family, the most common weddings that you will attend are that of friends. Therefore, the next few poems were specifically written to be shared with friends on their wedding day.

The first one may be shared with the bride by the maid of honor, bridesmaids, or simply a close friend. It recalls a few things from the wedding (in past tense), so it's up to you whether you wish to include it inside the wedding card or share it with your friend a few days after the wedding.

Smiles & Dreams

So happy and gorgeous,

with your smile and dress.

My heart filled with joy,

when I heard you say yes.

You've dreamt of this day,

for moments so long.

I could not hold my tears,

when you both danced to your song.

The love in your hearts,

shined on display.

Many beautiful years,

shall come skipping your way.

You've always been,

a true friend and so dear.

Whenever you need me,

I'll shall always be near.

I'll remember this wedding,

like I remember the sun.

It was truly wonderful,

we all danced and had fun.

Congratulations!

I'm so happy, it's true.

And hope all your dreams,

smile right back at you.

By Martin Dejnicki

The next poem was written in present tense, and simply talks about wishing a friend a beautiful and wonderful wedding and life. You could include it with the greeting card or you may share it with your friend a few days prior to the wedding, and help calm her nerves.

It Will Be Splendid!

You've always been,

a great friend of mine.

Our relationship has aged,

like a nice bottle of wine.

You are the type,

who I could always depend.

Sweet wedding wishes,

with love I do send.

I know you're excited,

and anxious as well.

I'm here for you,

your feelings do tell.

Your day will be beautiful,

like your dress and your hair.

With happy sweet smiles,

we'll cheer as we stare.

I can't wait myself,

for it will be splendid.

You'll remember forever,

those who attended.

Your wonderful new life,

is ready to start.

My blessings and wishes,

I bring from my heart.

By Martin Dejnicki

The next wedding poem was written to be shared by a couple with their friends who are getting married.

Special Love

Our wishes and blessings,

with pure joy we express.

We can't wait to see,

you both kiss and say yes.

We know your union,

is truly meant to be.

In your special love,

we totally agree.

Your day will be amazing,

like chocolate so sweet.

Adrenaline will help,

those tired and sore feet.

A strong beginning,

to a wonderful quest.

May your journey together,

be joyfully blessed.

At the end of the day,

when we have all gone.

You'll share more than a smile,

and maybe a yawn.

Whatever may happen,

and wherever you both go.

That special love for each other,

always remember to show.

By Martin Dejnicki

You may want to share the above poem with that special couple you know that are totally perfect for one another. I'm talking about that couple that are in so much love. You know what I'm talking about.

We have all attended huge weddings where there are several hundred guests. But at the same time, many of us choose to go with the more intimate humble wedding where we may invite only very close family and friends.

This next wedding poem talks about that type of wedding. Small but very sweet and memorable.

Simple & Sweet

The magic began,

when the sun just came out.

There was love in the air,

without any doubt.

The bride and groom joined,

their hearts and their souls.

A simple sweet wedding,

was one of their goals.

Close family and friends,

came to celebrate their bond.

With the most joyful smiles,

that were spread way beyond.

It was truth and support,

that founded this pair.

A simple sweet life,

they hope to now share.

They are better together,

than they are apart.

This magical day,

has created one heart.

There was no need for glamour,

nor a royal affair.

It was simple and sweet,

and beautifully rare.

By Martin Dejnicki

I hope that poem reminds us all that simple and small weddings can be very beautiful and truly special. In many cases, they're more fun than the huge ones, because everyone knows each other.

Here's a wedding poem that is a little bit different than the previous ones. This one mentions specific things during the ceremony and reception that will make the wedding special. You may wish to add your own points as well.

Sunshine Wedding

Just want to wish you,

a bright sunshine filled day.

May your beautiful wedding,

be covered in play.

From the ceremony yeses,

to those emotional vows.

To all those reactions,

with plenty of wows.

From the memorable poses,

and fun laughing shots.

To all those random toasts,

wishes and thoughts.

From all those jokes,

and hilarious fun games.

No need to worry,

if you forget a few names.

From the dancing and kissing,

and holding of hands.

And the sharing of dreams,

and the sharing of plans.

Just want to wish you,

a bright sunshine filled day.

And a beautiful life,

from my heart I convey.

By Martin Dejnicki

Doesn't every bride and groom hope that on their wedding day it will be nice and sunny outside?

Sure it's nice when it is, but you can't exactly order the weather for your special day (at least not yet). But it's still more important how the wedding turns out inside during the ceremony and reception. That's what really counts in my opinion. Food, music, atmosphere, etc..

You will also find a very nice collection of wedding poems at Special Wedding Poems.

I hope you enjoyed reading these wedding poems, and hope you have lots of fun at the next wedding you plan on attending.
