A Poem About Being Thankful

This morning I am very excited to share a beautiful poem that was submitted by two talented ladies. It talks about being thankful during both the good and bad times in our lives. It has definitely reminded me to appreciate everything that I have, even when I’m having a tough day.

I’m Thankful

I’m thankful for all the fears I felt
For God showed me laughter.
I’m thankful for all the fights I’ve been through
For God showed me the smile after.

How could I thank him enough
He molded me and now I’m tough.
When you smile to reassure,
That’s half the cure.

I’m Thankful for every obstacle
I Faced.
I’m thankful for every one of
My mistakes he erased.

I’m thankful for every destructive
Asteroid.
For God was there when I was
Destroyed.

I’m thankful for God showing
Me the way.
How could I ever repay.
For what God did to me that
day
