The poem was requested by her loving son-in-law, Sam Mhlungu. Sam and his wife Ingrid (Martha's Daughter) are praying for her recovery. God bless Martha!

Our Ouma

Martha Petersen is special and kind,

We love her so much, and her beautiful mind.

Her heart has expanded, love she gives dearly,

We pray for her recovery, from our hearts and sincerely.

A beautiful lady, she's always been proud,

Linksfield will help, get rid of that cloud.

Embraced South Africa, learned to be strong,

Lives life to the fullest, laughter's her song.

Ingrid and Sam wish her the best,

At this time, she needs plenty of rest.

No matter what, we'll always be there,

You are our ouma, we love you and care.
